I've been playing air guns for a year, but finally I tried a real....GUN!! Who-hooooo :D My boyfriend and I got a new gun, M44, the other day and it looks SO cool!!! He has AK-47(air gun) and I have M14(air gun) and we both love our guns, but omg.....this new family member, M44, is such a nice gun. More than anything...it's a real gun!!! yaaaaay :) If I show you kinda new image of Aoi chan, haha sorry! but it's me!!!(Butters!) Anyway, we went to the shooting center to try our new gun near his house. When I arrived at the shooting center, I was scared because of the sound of gunfire. Even though I knew air guns, oh man!, real guns were a lot different. My heart was bounding actually. At first I was scared to shoot a gun because, you know, I felt like I was gonna kill somebody... BUT, when I got used to it, it was a lot fun!!!! My shoulder got shocked when I shot, and it made my eyes close... haha BUT BUT BUT!!!! Look at my target, eveyone!!! I was not bad at shooting! hehe When I shot a red spot, I was so happy and did five high with my boyfriend!!! haha I wanna go there again if I can :D Again, it was sooo much fun!!!!!!!!!!

Last weekend we got a lot of snow again and we went sledding near the house! I told you I got skiwear, right?.......yeah I think so. haha It's blue!!!!!! My favorite color :D Because I wore that, I couldn't feel any wet and cold! It was perfect to play with snow :) I'm really glad I bought it! I hope I could see lots of snow again before I go back to Vancouver!!!! Oh! Last night we got lights that we can decorate the house....so we are gonna decorate tonight! Who-hoooo :) I'll take pics and put it here!

I've never seen this much snow in my life!!! My city, Nagoya, rarely gets snow, so when I woke up in this morning, I was so happy that I could scream out!!! haha　The weather was also nice and I could enjoy my favorite blue sky :D I went to the sports store to get a ski clothes....yep! I'll try skiing here in Denver!! Who-hooo :) It's gonna be SO much fun I think!
Tonight I was really surprised how cold it was!!! It was around -16℃.......IMPOSSIBLE!!! I didn't know why I could be alive honestly...but it was fun! haha I could see beautiful stars in the sky too!!! I LOVE stars especially in winter :D I think I have to start to study Astronomy for next semester! Oh, yeah! I didn't tell you here, but.... ☆I passed ESL courses in this semester and I can take acdemic courses from next semester!!!★ haha I can hear someone saying "Conglaturation Aoi!!!"........THANK YOU!!!!!
Seems like I can sleep well tonight. Recently I can't sleep untill very late at night. It's not good feeling really. I'm thinking what I'm going to do tomorrow...maybe I can find something.. haha Well, I'm getting sleepy so I'll get some sleep :)

久しぶりの日本語でちょっと戸惑うけど、やっぱり母国語は忘れないもんだね。漢字以外は。笑　アメリカに着いて・・・えっと・・・４日かな？アメリカって国を実感してしまった。今日アイスホッケーを見に行ったのね。そこで開会式でなんと、”今日は真珠湾攻撃の記念日です”ということで、その時の被害にあって今も生きていらっしゃる方の話を聞いて、アメリカの国歌を歌って・・・”日本人による攻撃でたくさんのアメリカ国民が亡くなりました”って形で式典が終わったの。なんかスタジアムにいるアメリカ人みんながあたしの敵みたいな感じがしてすごい怖かった。もちろん何もされてないよ。ただ、すごく悲しくなって、泣いてしまった・・・。日本人は昔あった歴史を忘れすぎなのかもしれない。だけど、あたしやこれからの日本を担っていくあたしの世代の日本人は、あの頃とは違うと思う。世界にもオープンになって、世界からの評価も受けるようになってきた。もしいつかあたしがアメリカに住むことになったら・・・こういう記念日の日はどうすればいいんだろう？やっぱ一人の日本人として見られるのかな？・・・と考えると、ちょっと怖いよね。カナダ、特にバンクーバーは移民の都市としてもすごく有名で、それぞれの民族が文化を尊重し合って生きてる感じがしてあたしはすごく好き。もちろんアメリカが悪いなんて言ってるわけじゃないよ。今からあたしが勉強する”国際関連”の勉強は、いろんな視点から世界の物事を見ていかなきゃいけないんだと思う。愛国心が強すぎる人間には向かない分野なのかも。ただ今日はちょっとビックリしちゃっただけなんだ。これをカルチャーショックというのかはわかんないんだけど・・・。スタジアムにいた時、ホントはすごく日本に電話したくなったの。誰かにこの気持ちを日本語で思いっきし伝えたくて。でも・・・やはり時差はくせ者だね。だから今日はこのブログで気持ちをぶつけてるってわけ。ホントは日本語使いたくなっかたんだよね。日本語を知らないたくさんの人達が、あたしのブログを読んでくれてることをもう知っちゃったから。だから今日が最初で最後の日本語によるブログです。笑　今日のことはちゃんと今日でふんぎりつけて、明日からはまたアメリカを思う存分に楽しみます♪何があっても、英語だけは嫌いにならにように。明日はまたまた雪が降るみたい・・・★今日ばっちりスキー用の手袋を買っちゃいました！笑　スキーも楽しみだな♪
いろんなことを考えるようになって、いろんなことを自分で体験するようになって、確かに年をとったな～とは思うけどやっぱり自分の夢に向かってるのはいいな～って思う！みんなそれぞれ夢があって頑張ってると思うから、あたしも頑張ります★☆
さーて、明日はついに今学期のコースが合格できたかどうかわかる日。ちゃんと合格できていれば・・・順調に１月からアカデミックの授業が取れちゃう！！！まあ、今更何にもできないんだけど・・・合格してますよーに☆★

Yaaaaaaaaaay!!!!! Everything is DONE :) I'm sooo happy now!!! Finally this semster finished and we are going to have 1 month winter vacation! who-hooo :D Of course we had exams at both of classes, but we could think about only one thing....yep! Going out for dinner with my classmates with Jacque! Place was my favorite Korean restaurant! We ordered, hmmmm, chapche(yaaaay, KyungMi!), toppoki(yaaaay, Lily!), and two kinds of hotpot.....YUM :D Me and my classmates have been together for 3 months and studied together.. I love class atmospher we have!!! What we've learned is sometimes really tough to do, but I could do it becuase I had friends who did with me :) Minna daaaaaisuki yo! (I love you guys!)
After dinner, we all went to karaoke!!!! yaaaaay :D Asians love karaoke!!!!! It's kinda funny, but even though the language is different, we can have so much fun with music! We just went crazy and danced and jumped and hit the table.... haha I dont know why but the last song that we sang together was... "yesterday once more" hahaha
Most of the friends went back their home after karaoke, but..... me, Lily, KyungMi and Hugh wanted to drink more so we went to Hugh's house with pizza and beer!!! We talked about really weird stuff over drinking lots of beer. Lily needed that fan made of haineken paper.. HAHAHAHA Around midnight, we got drunk and really didnt wanna go back home.....so......we stayed at Hugh's house! Hugh with 3 girls...hahahah When my Chinese friend, Lily, talked with her sister on the phone, we all tried to speak Chinese to her. Lily's sister told me my pronunciation was really good! yaaaaay :D It's really fun to learn new language with friends!!! After that, Hugh suddenly started to mimic pokemon's voices (japanese anime). It made us laugh untill we cried... and suddenly...we were quiet and fell asleep. haha really really easygoing members :D :D :D
I'm really glad I have 1 month holiday and go to Denver, but I'm sure I'm gonna miss my friends here!!! They are all great pongyou("friend" in Chinese), chingu("friend" in Korean)!!!

I love christmas songs!!! I can sing it in any seasons though.. haha Everywhere is started to decorate christmas stuff! SO SO SO CUTE :D I can listen to christmas songs almost everywhere now. Especially I love to see the lighten up Christmas Trees!!! My mom and I always decorate our christmas tree together. This year I guess she is going to do alone.... I wanna go back and do it with her!!! haha
My school had Christmas party the other day. I went there with my host family and ate dinner and cake!! After that, we played a lot of games. One of the games was that decorating one of the host family member and we had a competition! We decorated ANDY!!! haha We just put everything we had!! He told me some stuff made his nose tickled all the time!!! We got the 2nd prize! yaaaay :D After that, we had a game using chopsticks! But.... that chopsticks were plastic and we gotta carry marbles to another table. It was.......really REALLY hard!!!! My hand was shakiing and I just couldn't stop laughing! hahaha Me, Lily and KyunMi, we all tried it, but our team was ...... disaster... We all are from Asia and we lost our pride. hahaha Anyway, I had a really good time so everything was great at the end!!!
Wow....I have only 2 more days left in this semester. Time has passed so fast!!! It means I can enjoy this life and have lots of things to do. It's a good thing ne :) I have a vacation for 1 month so I'll be able to relax!!! And then, I'll get an energy for next semester starting from January. Ganbaru zoooooo!!!!! (hmmm, I 'll do my best!!...kana?)
Ok, I'll go to bed thinking about Christmas! Maybe I can dream about Santa Claus! hehe

I was so happy last Thursday because Starbucks was already cerebrating Christmas :D Cute cute cuuuuuute!!!! haha I always loved changing everything for Christmas when I worked at Starbucks in Japan!!! I really miss working there :D Hey everyone at oasis 21 ~~~!!! haha My favorite Christmas drink this year are "espresso truffle" and "signature hot chocolate"! Yum :D
Wow, I have only 2 weeks left in this semester~! This week we have exams again (AGAIN) so after that we really can feel like our vacation is coming soon!!! Yaaaaay :D If i have something excting, I can work very hard :D Thanks for good motivation "Denver"!!! hahaha

Welcome back, aoi's smile!!!

Lauging dissapeared from my life in past a week.. It was just like...I was not myself. Normally I LOVE to talk and laugh, but I couldn't do that. My lips had had a problem since the weather changed here. I never had that bad condition so I really didn't know what to do. I couldn't open my mouth and I couldn't talk or eat anything. I finally went to the doctor and got medicine which I never tried before.. My skin is really sensitive so sometimes it's not good to use different medicine. Because I couldn't talk, I was absent from school a couple of days too. School has been my favorite place since I was a kindergarten school student. I was kinda afraid that I refused to meet people even with my host family. It also made me miss my family in Japan. I talked to my mom a lot and she gave me kind words. I was relieved that my family are always there for me when I need them. If this medicine didn't work, I would've thought about going back to Japan seriously... I've taken medicine for a week and finally my lips are getting much better though. I finally can talk to people and laugh.. even yawning. haha All of my friends and my host family told me that they were glad to see my smile again.
Because I'd been at home while I was having my lips trouble, I didn't go out except school. So, today I finally got out of house and went shopping by myself. On the bus I kept thinking why I came to Vancouver. It was back to when I was 10, I met my favorite English teacher. She showed me Vancouver for the first time. Since then, coming here had been my dream. I'm 21 now, so...wow, I'd been dreaming about this for 11 years. I think going abroad is not something everyone can do. I always thank to my parents who let me come here. I don't know about after 2 years at Douglas yet, but I do what I can do now. And then, I can see my future later. Feels like I can get rid of something in my mind today. And more than anything, I'm really happy I can talk and laugh now! Welcome back Aoi!!! haha I'm so sorry to everyone that I made them worry about me and thank you so much for always supporting me :D

Happy Halloween everyone!!! We were busy from noon today. First we made apple candy :D It reminded me a lot of summer festival in Japan actually. It was fun to make it and it was really YUM :) We ate hot dogs as dinner and went to trick or treating!!! Of course it was my first time to do that!!! I wore the costume of a witch, Anna became a sleepy and beauty and Gabriella was a lion! I thought I couldn't get candies because I'm not young, but....hehe I could get a lot :D I can save some money for sweets for a couple weeks! haha I saw lots of kids wearing a costume...it was SO cute!!! It was also fun to walk looking at decorated houses!!! It seemed like each house had a competition. Some were really scary though. I put some pictures of it! Enjoy :D
I wanna write more, but I'm really sleepy even though I woke up 10:30 today... haha

I just called my mom. She was with my grandma so we talked almost 2 hours!!! Wow....I feel a lot better about everything :) We just talked about my school stuff, my life here and Japanese economy.. haha It's been a long time to talk with them and I realized I miss my family especially my mom and grandma a lot. We always hung out together..going to the shopping center and eating lunch and drinking coffee at starbucks :) They were at shopping center as usual when I called them. I felt like I wanted to be there!!! I'm so glad to know that they are doing ok, though.
I just looked at pictures when I took at grandma's house. I was with mom, grandma, aunts and uncle. It's really natural picture and I like it :D If I think about me going to grandma's, it always reminds me of "grandma and aunt's special lunch". haha I've grown with it and I've always loved it. My aunt's onigiri (rice ball) is the best in the world. All of my family knows about it. haha Of course I ate it in the morning on the day I left Japan. I really miss her onigiri. Their special lunch comes with onigiri, yudetamago (boiled egg), toumorokoshi (boiled corn) and cold green tea. Ito family's classic! hehe ughhhhh, I wanna eat it!!!!
I really can't wait that they are coming to Vancouver!!! I've looked for some of Japanese restaurants for my grandma and searched for the buildings have washroom for my mom. haha My mom is easy to get stomachache if she feels there is no washrooms in the place we go. hmmm, I guess I'll dream about them tonight. haha

Yaaaay :D Another new experience!!! Halloween is coming this Friday so my host family and I carved pumpkins tonight!!! The pumpkin was much bigger than I expected actually...haha I was thinking what kinda shape I made. Andy asked me to draw something about Japan so I carved as "ドラえもん" (doraemon, Japanese kids character)!!! Actually.....it's a lot like a cat :( haha We put a candle inside a pumpkin and turned of the light...............CUUUUUUTE :D :D :D I really can't wait Halloween!!!!!
Tomorrow we are gonna have a big fight with "HIM"....., but we can say "good bye" to him tomorrow finally!!! Yaaaaay :) After that, maybe we are gonna spend some hard time with, this time, "HER". haha She is really tough too. I sometimes can't understand what she explains to us.... right, Lily, KyungMi, Shirley, and Betty? hahaha Well, I'll just do my best ;) With me luck!

Hi everyone! I'm sorry about late post. I had kinda hard time past a few weeks. Well, if we pass this Thursday, we can forget about "HIM". haha
My friends and I got warm colorful hats at american eagle!!! We are like three sisters!!! haha On the skytrain, woman asked us to take a picture of us! hahaha It's getting really cold out here so I'm glad to get this nice blue hat :)
Now everyone is excited about Halloween :D My friends and I went to PNE (amusement park). During Halloween season, it opens untill late at night. Actually PIE says "Mon-Sat. 6 p.m. to untill late. haha There were so many people there, but we tried a lot of rides!!! It was so funny to go to a haunted house!!! One of my friend (sorry Lily!) was really refused to try that, but haha we just held her and didn't let her go! haha Actually inside the haunted house it was so scary!!! Monsters were following us and we were just screaming and running away! I wanna try it again! haha Well, I can't ride roller coasters, but I tried it!!! Mom, you gotta proud of me!!! haha It fell down twice and went up side down twice..... FUN :D Of course I'm still scared of falling down, but it was fun :) Nice try Aoi!!!!
I can't wait to come Halloween!!! And then, Gabriella's first birthday :D Yaaaaaay!!! I'll help Ippo (host mom) to decorate our house!!! November is gonna be busy month! I gotta resister classes for next semester and pay for it. I gotta talk to my academic advisor too! Hope everything goes well :)

Another new experience today! October 13th is Thanks Giving day in Canada and we had a party today. About 15 people gathered and ate BIG turkey with wine :D It was SO good!!! We ate and talked with listening to the music. Sometimes we danced! hehe After turkey, it was sweets time!!! Everything was homemade and it was just wonderful. We made coffee and enjoyed them a lot :D Nick, George and I made rum coke too!!! haha Since I came here, I haven't drunk at all so I was so happy to drink it! hehehe I felt a lot tonight how much I enjoy my life here. Nick asked me if I miss Japan or not.....I was like "not at all" hahaha This is what I've wanted to do for a loooong time so I'm glad I'm here now. People around me are really nice and they always listen to what I say. If I speak English, I can communicate with people. It's really cool feeling. haha I wanna communicate with people from all over the world. It's one of my reasons why I study English I think :D
It's midnight and my brain doesn't work anymore. The bed are saying "Aoi chaaaan, time to go to bed!!!" haha Have a good night!!!

Today, my friends and I went to Richmond! There are a lot of Chinese people live there so we called it China city. When I got on the bus, I could see only Asian and I didn't feel like I was in Vancouver! hahaha After we ate lunch, we went to the shopping mall. I found a "Daiso" there!!! It's a Japanese version of "one dollar store"!!! I was so happy because everything was from Japan and I could listent to Japanese songs there. I spent about $30 there actually.....haha I never spent that much when I was in Japan, but you know.....I sometimes need Japanese stuff too :) I could find a sigh which says "笑う門には福来たる" (third pic). It means that if you laugh, lots of happiness comes to your life. It really represents my life I guess. I always laugh, I mean mostly, and I can be happy all the time. hahaha :D
After we went to Daiso, we went to starbucks which we always went at the end of the day. I drank "cafe mist" and got "banana loaf" YUM :D We always talk a lot at starbucks! It's really good to have friends who have same kinda goal, which is studying English. And also we talked about how cool to have freedom! hehe I can't wait to have lots of memories with them from now!!!
We've been starting to decorate halloween stuff at house!!! It's so FUN and they are so CUTE!!! I'm not gonna put pictures of them yet though! hehe I'm thinking what I'm gonna be!!! Anna will be a sleepy and beauty so..... maybe a witch??? I'll go to a store and think about it!!!
Ok, I just got hot cocoa with my family infront of the fire! It was a really good time :) It also makes me sleepy...☆
