Wow....today was perfect weather for the mountain. I couldn't see any clouds in the sky! That's my favorite Vancouver sky :) I had gone to Grouse Mountain last year, but it was still hard to climb up this time. At first, it was kinda cold out there,　but soon we took of our jackets and became "T-shirt and Jeans" girls and boys! When we got to the top, it was just wonderful!!! I could look over all North Vancouver and downtown, even the mountain in Washington DC in United States. I could enjoy the blue sky and mountain air!!! On our way home in the skytrain, eveyone was so tired and felt sleepy, though. haha We wish we had one more day off!!!

Yesterday was SO much fun with my friends. This week was Korean food so me and my friends went to Coquitlam which is the city next to New West Minster. There are lots of Korean people living there so it's kind of Korean town, similar to Richmond that we always call new China town. My favorite Korean food is "Chapuche". It was YUM :)
My school has another campus in Coquitlam. It was NEW and really clean!!! Compare to New Westminster, it has much open space and grass!!! ii naaaa :D I hope I can spend at least one semester there even though it's a bit far from my house. haha I took pictures it so enjoy it!!! My friends and I were kinda crazy when we took pictures.... I hope nobody saw us.. hehe
I gottoa go! I'll climb the mountain today! Who-hoooo :D There is a mountain which is called "Grouse Mountain" in North Vancouver. More than anything......it's REALLY beautiful weather today! Yaaaaay :) I'm gonna take lots of pictures in mountain and update here!

Chinese restaurant!!!

Wow, this week passed SO fast!!! I don't have school on Friday so my friends and I always say "TGIT" instead of "TGIF". I had reading and writing tests and gave a presentation on this week. Finally......everything was DONE :-) I was so happy that my friends and I went to starbucks after school. My favorite drink (recently) is triple shots grande extra hot cafe mocka. I still remember on my first day of working at starbucks in Japan, about three years ago already, I drank cafe mocka. AHHHH!!! I can't stop thinking about working back there. There is a starbucks on 6th street. I guess it's better than one on columbia street. haha "team work" is the best, right?, everyone in Oasis21?!? hehe
I'm now thinking what I'm gonna do for this weekend. Every Saturday my Chinese friend, Korean friend and I hang out and have lunch at restaurant from each country by turn. This week is Korean restaurant!!! I LOVE Korean foods :-) Can't wait!!! Maybe I'm gonna hang out with my friends from last year. I hope the weather will be great on weekend :D
....I'm so sleepy now. I don't have school tomorrow so I can sleep a lot, yaaaay!!!

Vancouver life!!!

I've been here already for 3 weeks, but actually I
feel like I've been here for more than that. Staying with Anna and Gabriella is so much fun. It's what I wanted to do for a loooong time. All of my friends know how much I love kids and how much I am like them. haha I never thought they were annoying, just they are full of emotions. Espacially 11-month-old Gabriella is growing every day, every single minute. She has attentions for everything she sees and trys to grab it and throw them away. When she crawls, she is SO fast!!! Anna is such a girly girl, but I'm sure Gabriella will be an active girl and she might be able to play soccer with Andy. haha
I don't know why, but looking at Gabriella always makes me happy, I always feel like she is the prettiest baby I've ever seen!!! haha Yet, it is scary to think about me having my own baby someday..... haha

My school life is going very well. I'm getting used to dealing with lots of homework on weekdays, and I can enjoy my weekends with my family and friends here. I've realized a lot that most of my friends are really interested in Japan such as Japanese songs, dramas, cartoons, mangas and our culture. I'm always so happy to tell them about Japanese culture and also it's so interesting to talk about different cultures among our countries. Yaaaaaaay!!! JAPAN!!!!!! hahaha

I've been thinking about having part-time job here recently. What I think about is of course STARBUCKS. haha I'm not sure about it, but we'll see!!! :D

Hi everyone! Sorry for kinda late post. The email from my friend made me realize this blog actually. haha So many things have been happening in my life. I think I finally got my "comfortable life" here though.
Opening up a bank account, getting a cell phone, buying daily stuff......it's ALL natural things to do if I'm in my country, but it makes me feel like "wow, I'm doing it in another country. I'm gonna have my LIFE here from now." hahaha It's really good feeling especially for me who has wanted to do that for a long time. I guess some of my friends had exactly the same feeling when they went abroad.....right? Bob and Chi-chan!? haha
My school life is ...... FULL OF HOMEWORK!!!! haha Since I graduated from college in Japan, I haven't had enough reading time. It sometimes makes me struggle...but it's been good for me, I hope. My school has lots of open space and I like it. Students just sit and talk there, some of them study with very thick books.... Some part of my school, the wall use a lot of plate glass so I can feel sunshine through it and it's really lovely. Vancouver has been really great weather and I can enjoy MY favorite blue sky. From the skytrain, I can see lots of green and mountains and blue sky.......PERFECT!!! haha It feels like I'm in "Happy Place" from "happy gilmore"......maybe only one person knows what I'm talking about. haha
